SD G Generation Portable website

Opening recently is the SD G Generation Portable website. Not much to see and click, but you'll be able to see many mecha in SD version - the big-head-small-body cuty stuff. Well, cute is for those who would consider them so.

HGUC Zudah & Cosmic Region Infinite Justice

Coming out this June from Bandai's cookie jar is HGUC 1-144 Scale Zudah, one of the Zaku-refit mecha from MS Igloo, Bandai's 3-D version of some sidestories from UC0079, the One Year War. Looks quite neat to me, definitely better than the original Zaku 2, which was designed in the 80s. The price is around 1500 Yen.
Another great mecha to be released is Cosmic Region Infinite Justice from SEED Destiny. Should be price around 4000 Yen, similar to Strike Freedom from the same series out quite a while ago. This is not a model though, it's more like a sofisticated Gundam toy with accurate paint scheme and a lot of warning decals all over the body. Gorgoeus for display but also quite extensible for a lot of actions and play-ability.

What a Big Mouth

Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-1 last Saturday in the English FA Cup Semis. However, it is not surprisng that not many people talk about the goals or the misses, but about the fact that the managers of both teams did not shake hands after the match, as well as Chelsea's manager, Mourinho stubborn comments on how his team lost because of the referee and how well his team perform in the Premiership as compared to the Reds. Mr. Morinho also demonstrated his incredible Math skill in calculating the point difference between his team and Liverpool over x season in the Premiership. Unbelievable.

MorinhoEven if you're not interested in football, take his comments as some references and guidance for you to be a public enemy among your friends. If you want to be one badly, that is.

(Extracted from bbc.co.uk)
"In the Premiership they have no chance. Over 40 matches, no chance. Maybe they will surprise me and they can do it.

"But in 10 matches against us they have won twice. In the Premiership the distance between the teams is 45 points over two seasons."

"We beat them in a final, they beat us in two semi-finals. A psychological advantage? I don't think so. In four matches in the Premiership we beat them four times."

"Did the best team win? I don't think so. In the last 30 minutes we deserved extra time."

Vince McMahon shouting at 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. Let's hope we don't get to see that hideous face in the PremiershipWell, at least the two parties did not end up fighting like what happened in the Arsenal-Tottenham derby. What was Wenger thinking anyway? Vince McMahon, the bad a** chairman of the World Wrestling Entertainment must be one of his idols.

Check out the news on Soccernet.

GFF Nobel Gundam

When I first saw GF13-050NSW Nobel Gundam for the first time a couple of years ago, I almost laughed my head off. Clearly this is an MS created out of the Japanese designers’ image about cute girls in student uniforms. To put Gundam into girls’ uniform seems to be ridiculously funny for me.

In the G Gundam series, Nobel Gundam is quite an important character actually (for those of you who think that she is merely a cheerleader for the show, she is NOT). She did participate in the Gundam Fight, and got some hidden agenda with Devil Gundam, the villain of the story. I haven’t watched the anime yet, so my knowledge on the storyline is a bit scratchy.

I thought for such a character, there is no way the model is going to look good. But the people at Bandai continue to impress me. Just have a look at the few pictures here. GFF God Gundam is actually my first posting in this blog, but I didn’t mention that Nobel Gundam is included in that kit as well, because I have no idea how it’s going to look like back then. Now I know. Amazing!Front view of GFF God Gundam & Nobel Gundam
