A Possible MG Kshatriya Coming Soon?

"Near the end of the talk (the opening of SuperModelers), it was asked if there were going to be any more Gundam UC kits. The Bandai Hobby Division rep (Hirofumi) answered, "I can't say which but I think I want merchandise of the machine designated as the rival in Gundam Unicorn." When asked for a show of hands regarding whether those present wanted the Sinanju or the Kshatriya as a Master Grade, the Kshatriya won out." -- Read more on Gunota Headlines.

Along with Manabu Kimura, Dengeki Hobby's editor-in-chief and Harutoshi Fukui, Gundam UC author, the trio talked about various issues during the event. Some other 'strange' stuff was also being discussed, like "an aquatic mobile suit will be needed in the Summer" (not sure why it's "needed" ^^;), "a new GM-equivalent mobile suit", and even "a giant, 4-legged GM".

O_O?!?

Personally, I would like to ask Mr. Hirofumi whether any new PG Gunpla is coming soon, or is that product line being halted permanently. But anyway, a possible MG Kshatriya is a good news nonetheless, even though the audience's choice is still subjected to the marketing plan of Bandai.

Anyway, plenty of upcoming Gundam merchandises were displayed during the event as well:

HG 1/100 Gundam Virtue is standing on the far right in the photo.

Even the V-fin can be detached in Nadleeh's mode! Nice! ^^

The hair/mustache still looks very ugly to me ^^;

As seen from the picture, there's a possible flaw that model's hands may not be able to hold the twin shoulder cannons for long because of their weight ^^;

We get to see plenty of HG 1/144 Gundam Throne Eins and Tieren Space Type lately.

The upcoming HGUC set of G-3 Gundam versus Char's Rick Dom. G-3's color seems lighter than the event-release of HGUC G-3 posted some time ago, and so is the red on Char's Rick Dom.

So the 1/35 scale Zeta mentioned the other day IS the Jumbo Grade release, with the release date delayed. The price of 28,140 Yen is inclusive of tax.

MG Nu Gundam and Sazabi Metallic Coating Ver. sure stand out among the crowd ^^

A closer look on MG Nu Gundam Metallic Coating Ver. and the white Strike Noir + I.W.S.P.

Beam Gatling for MG Unicorn that (only) come with Gundam Unicorn novel vol. 4 limited edition -_-|||
Released date is 26 April 2008, priced 1,260 yen.

The upcoming MG Zaku Mine Layer is standing on the far right in the picture.

These pictures will show you how smart Bandai is in designing the runners and parts for MG Zaku II Ver 2.0 to accommodate more variations in the future.

More Musha Keroro and Foot Soldier Tamama.

Suitcase_Zeta
AEUG suitcases, complete with warning markings some more XD

Gundam 00 Episode 16

Trinity

Personally, I would like to change the title to 'Tri-Nee-ty' ^^

Yes folks, Team Trinity is unveiled in this episode. They rescued the Meisters from the endless torment of the military trap since last week, and showed Setsuna and co. how they handle the enemies.

But hell, they made the whole thing looked so simple! XD Ali, Sergei, Soma, Patrick, and Graham were all defeated, with ease!

Team Trinity is way more powerful than the four Meisters. As a matter, I think the power of their Gundams is 'abnormally' superior, even as compared to the current four Gundams. That major flooding of GN particle really reminds me of the-end-of-the-world scene from Evangelion ^^;

Since this is the debut episode for the three new Gundams, I felt the excitement of watching Episode 1 of this series again, when Exia first came out ^^ But I was quite disappointed as the episode turned into a summary of all the major missions participated by the Meisters, since I thought the episode was going to be more about Team Trinity instead. Nonetheless, a few important points regarding the existence of the 'second' Gundam Team, as well as the organization of the Celestial Beings itself were hinted.

It seems like the heads of the Celestial Beings are not very happy with the performance of the Meisters so far ^^;

Also, it would be very interesting if all the Gundams end up fighting each other, but where would that lead the story of Gundam Double O to then?

* For your information, this 'meeting' scene is very Evangelion-styled as well.

This episode very much 'reset' the storyline of the series a bit, as the tension of the world is relieved for a while after the failed mission to capture the Gundams, and future episodes will need to show how the crew of Ptolemaios react to the new Celestial Beings members. So another huge scale combat like this episode (not quite actually ^^;) won't appear soon I believe. The world needs time to produce more cannon fodders MSs ^^; while we need time to see more Neena XD

By the way, pardon me for the excessiveness of Neena in this posting XD

If the Gundams do fight against each other, I'm sure I'll have a difficult time choosing a side because of her ^^

You can watch this episode onTudou (with Chinese subtitle).

HG Gundam Throne Eins & Others

Plenty of lovely photos of upcoming Gundam merchandises from The Gundam Base Side One this time. Leading the show is HG Gundam Throne Eins from Gundam Double O.

(Click on the titles to their respective pages with more images on the Gundam Base Side One.)

HG 1/144 Gundam Throne Eins

Apart from the size, Throne Eins's shoulder cannon seems to be quite flexible in allowing it to be posed in different angles.

The cannon is longer than I thought O_O

A huge cannon is very huge indeed. These pictures say it all~

HG 1/144 Tieren Space Type

Many little bowls (rocket thrusters) and two 'milk bottles' XD on his knees are the major differences between this Tiern Space Type and the other two released previously.

The grapple chain launched from his chest is new ^^

Jumbo Grade Zeta Gundam

These few pictures didn't really show the size of this Jumbo Grade Zeta. You can refer to my previous posting to see how big this fella is as compared to your hand ^^

Action Base 2: Sparkle Clear Green

A clear green display stand targeted for your Gundam Double O Gunplas.

HG 1/144 Xist Elwes's Customized CGUE

SEED Frame Astray Gunpla strikes again! ^^ This time with Xist Elwes's Customzized Red Cgue. Expect nothing changes except the color and the marking on his shoulder.

HG 1/144 Alec Ladd's Customized Kerberos BuCUE Hound

Another SEED Frame Astray model coming up is Alec Ladd's Customized Kerberos BuCUE Hound. A 'gentle' reminder for everyone: no display stand is included as according to the first Kerberos BuCUE Hound from SEED Stargazer ^^;

The backpack of this BuCUE Hound seems quite suitable to be fitted on Rey Za Burrel's Zaku Phantom due to the similarity in terms of their color.

HCM-Pro GM Sniper

Being a limited release as the 50th HCM-Pro figure so far, those who are interested better move fast if you want to get him.
Also, not shown here is a piece of cloth that is included for displaying GN Sniper in camouflage.

HCM-Pro SP Gundam Exia

Special Painted version of HCM-Pro Exia. Apart from the coated paint, the delicate details of the text printed in the targeting sensors (?) all over Exia are also quite astonishing.

All images from The Gundam Base Side One.

Meanwhile, Dengeki.Info has posted up some nice images of Gundam Plutone, briefly mentioned a while ago on my blog.

While I like the head design and the shield, I really can't adjust myself to those strange-looking legs ^^;
