Gundam UC at Gundam Big Expo

Sunrise Inc. announces a special stage event to be held at 2PM on August 22nd, the second day of Gundam Big Expo 2009, titled "Gundam UC -the Beginning of UC-".

The stage event will feature Harutoshi Fukui-sensei, the writer of Gundam UC. The cast of the main characters in the anime will be introduced, plus some major announcement regarding the anime will be revealed.

There will be an autograph session with Fukui-sensei for Kadokawa Shoten after that. Folks who wanted to get his autograph must get a special ticket included in the novel of Gundam UC Chapter 9 and 10 available at the event starting at 11AM. Only 200 of such special offers available ^^;

The major announcement mentioned should be regarding the format of release I think. Before this, Odaiba Walker 2009 August 30th Issue Summary Ver. announced that it's going to be a TV series (see this previous posting), which was being denied by Kadokawa, which said that the exact format will be revealed at Gundam Big Expo 2009 (see this article on Anime News Network).

So, basically, nothing is confirmed until this event. ^^;
