Tomino's the Dream of Zaku

Yoshiyuki Tomino-sensei's latest work of sculpture called "the Dream of Zaku" (ZAKUの夢) will be on display at Bandai Museum in Tochigi, Japan on July 4th.

This art piece is actually a renewed work from Yoshiyuki Tomino-sensei's first sculpturing work called "From First", which was on display at a Gundam related event back in 2005.

As a matter of fact, the entire set is exactly the same as "From First", with the addition of a bronze Gundam RX-78-2 figure in the middle of the set.

"The Dream of Zaku" will feature 12 units of Zaku II fixed models, which is about 1.5 meters tall each. Some of these Zaku II models will be shown lying down, as you can seen from the photos above.

The entire set will have a height of 170cm, width of about 390cm and depth of about 280cm. The aim of the set is to envision a new Gundam World.

"The Dream of Zaku" will be on display at Bandai Museum starting July 4th. Apart from the special set, there's also a life-size Gundam RX-78-2 bust with the height of 5.6 meters awaiting your visit at the museum. Admission fee is 1,000 Yen for adults and 600 Yen for children.
