The event, "Mecha Design For 1/1 Mechanical Designer Kunio Okawara Exhibition" exhibited about 100 original illustrations from Kunio Okawara-sensei's work, 80 design settings and plamo kits based on his design. The event has started since April 3rd actually, and will continue till July 1st. Last week was the highlight of the event, as an autograph session was held on May 29th and a special talk by Kunio Okawara-sensei was on the next day.
There are three categories of awards to be given to the plamo work exhibited: "Kunio Okawara Award" to be decided by Kunio Okawara-sensei, "Popularity Award" to be voted by the visitors to the event and another special award, the "Sunrise Award".
