Gundam UC's official site announced yesterday that at a special event to be organized in August, part of "Gundam UC" Episode 2 "The Red Comet" will be screened.
This special event is called "Portrait of the Red: Char to Frontal" (赤の肖像 ～シャア、そしてフロンタルへ～). It will be held from August 13th till 15th at Tokyo Dome City Theater G-Rosso.
The special guest at the event will be Mr. Shuuichi Ikeda (池田秀一), the seiyuu who famously played Char Aznable in the original Gundam series, and Full Frontal in the upcoming "Gundam UC" Episode 2. Mr. Shuuichi Ikeda, along with Hukui Harutoshi-sensei, the writer of the "Gundam UC" novel will discuss on their opinion regarding the character of Char Aznable. Kouki Uchiyama (内山昂輝), the seiyuu of Banagher Links from "Gundam UC" anime will be a guest at the event as well.
And as mentioned at the very beginning, part of "Gundam UC" Episode 2 will be screened at the event.
Entrance pass to this event is priced at 5,800 Yen (inclusive of tax) for early booking (pre-order will begin on July 6th) and regular sales (pre-order starting July 25th). Entrance pass on the three days of the event itself is 6,300 Yen each (inclusive of tax).
"Gundam UC" Episode 2 "The Red Comet" will be released in Fall this year.
