The Zeonography series is basically the GFF line in disguise (busted!). Needless to say, for a toy tycoon like Bandai, which has more marketing tricks up their sleeves than anyone can imagine, they can diversify their product offers even among existing series. Zeonography is the GFF line for Zeon MS. Previous releases include Zaku II, Dom, Gelgoog, and Z’Gok. There’s another GFF line especially for SEED and SEED Destiny models called Cosmic Region, which has Strike Freedom, Infinite Justice, Destiny and the recent Akatsuki.
Nonetheless, Gundam fans still go for those products regardless of what marketing gimmick the company has come up with.
You’ve probably seen Zeongraphy Kampfer a bit in my previous entry, where Kampfer was still featured as a prototype in a toy exhibition. The completed model will be released early than planned, which is next month, according to HLJ. The price is 3680 Yen (around RM180 in Malaysia)
Kampfer is an absolutely ass-kicking mecha. Those who watched UC0080: War in a Pocket would easily remember how he single-handedly destroys a whole team of GMs and Guncannons, before any of them got the chance to land! Although he was defeated by Gundam NT-1 in the end, Kampfer’s appearance is certainly climax of the entire series.
I bought the MG version a couple years back, and the model is still one of my favorites until now. I hope that the HGUC version will be released soon, mecha like Z’Gok E, Hygogg, and all the GM variations were released, it’s a matter of time before Kampfer is out.
Anyway, this one is a sure buy for me. Wait a minute, what about HCM-Pro Sazabi, MG Strike IWSP and HG 1-144 Verde Buster Gundam? Arghhhhhhhh~~~~~
