Gundam Expo Hong Kong 2008

A lot of Gundam fun over in Hong Kong right now ^^

The annual Gundam Expo is currently being held in Hong Kong, starting from last Thursday (18th December), and will go all the way till the 4th of January (Sunday) at the Metropolis Mall (都會商場) just next to the Hung Hom Station (紅磡站) along the East Rail Line. Folks who in Hong Kong probably have visited the event. Those who are planning to go there this or next week, be sure to go there for a look too. ^^

Gundam history review, ...

... and make sure you take a look at the roof of that booth too ^^

00 Gundam costume but with Zaku II machinegun? ^^;
Who cares anyway, just grab your photo with her when you're there, that's more important XD

Gundam Double O merchandise section showing off Bandai's awesome power in the Gunpla business. ^^;

BB Senshi Sangokuden giant dioramas.

2-meter tall Exia and 00 Gundam

Limited event-release Gunpla sales section featuring:

Images from Bandai-Asia.

- HG 1/144 Gundam Exia Clear Color
- 1/100 Gundam Exia Clear Color (Trans Am Mode)
- MG G3 Gundam Ver. One Year War 0079
- PG Zaku II + Weapons (Animation Color Version)
- BB Senshi DX Versal Knight Gundam (Full Color Plated Version)
- 1/35 Mechanic Collection Guren Mk-II (Full Color Plated Version)

Some of them might seem very familiar to you. They are actually the items on sales for Gundam Expo Tokyo 2008. The real cool stuff is the release of MG Sinanju at the event on the 26th of December (one day later than the official date), with a special gold coin.

Dioramas featuring Hong Kong landmark. Folks in Hong Kong should be able to recognize the place. ^^

Display of Gundam masterpieces from Hong Kong and Japanese modelers.

Normal scale Ryofu Tallgeese with his bike O_O
Now that's the most bad-ass model I've ever seen ^^

Kan-U Gundam with his Harberd sitting on the throne is just as awesome. A heavily modified model it seems. The arms look like they are from HGUC Zaku II FZ.

Normal scale Ryuubi, Sousou, Chouhi, Kan-U, and Kanpei.
Kanpei is modified from MG Gundam Ver. 2.0 instead of S Gundam it seems.

Red and green Musha Gundam ^^

Titled "One-Eyed Dragon", and the long crescent on his helmet, I'm sure this BB Senshi model is referencing Date Masamune, an actual Samurai in history.

Shuyuu Hyaku Shiki stole Ryofu Tallgeese's bike and Chouun's Gundam spear XD

New armors and adventure for Ryuubi and his brothers.
