Yup, shockingly enough, no typo there ^^;
Two more new items from Bandai Hobby Division for December after the few mentioned this morning, non-Gundam plamo kits this time, which include a really surprising new item:
MG Figurerise 1/8 Son Goku
- Selling points are the rich articulation design of the whole body, for example multiple joints for the neck and abdomen.
- Has linked movement between the shirt and the chest
- Comes with option face expressions x2, option hand unit x2, display base
- Content: 12 runners, screw & nut x2, clear sticker and water slide decal.
December release, 3,675 Yen (inclusive of tax).
A direct competition to Kotobukiya seeing that the later had released SRW OG 1/144 Valsione and 1/1 HoiHoi-san? ^^;
I remember Dunbine in the MG series many many years ago, which was Bandai's first and only attempt at "organic" MG design. Of course, Dunbine can still be considered in the mecha series, but Goku is totally different. Bandai will take a totally different approach for this new sub series I believe. But still, I wonder how the hardcore fans of the MG series will look at this new item, will it make the MG series lose its conventional image of 1/100 scale Gunpla with inner frame among the fans?
For me, if the joints are indeed that awesome, then I hope Bandai would quickly acquire the copyright from Capcom and release a Chunli from this new series ^o^
Keropla King Kero Robo
- 1/12 Pirate King Keroro and Keroro Robo Super Sea King Mode.
- Power-up unit for the already released Kero Dash
December release, 1,470 Yen (inclusive of tax).
