Gundam 30th Birthday Festival in Nagoya DVD-Box

The DVD box set of "Gundam 30th Birthday Festival in Nagoya 'Gundam the First' Century of Creation in the Future", the event held from July 24th till July 26th last year at Port Messe in Nagoya to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Gundam will be released in September.


Special programs at the the three-day festival include talks by the creator Yoshiyuki Tomino-sensei, the original seiyuus of the anime, exhibition including a 1/1 scale head display of Char's Zaku II, and the never seen before original script of the anime. There were concerts featuring Gackt, Moriguchi Hiroko (森口博子, performed theme songs for Zeta Gundam and Gundam F91) and others as well.

The DVD box set contains 4 dual-layer DVDs. Total length of video is 840 minutes. Pre-order from shop (Japan) will end on August 16th. September 24th release, 19,800 Yen (inclusive of tax). Also comes with special prizes of a 64-page booklet introducing the event limited merchandises, staff info of the original TV series' production team and others, special 16mm film and customized stand and Gundam RX-78-2/Char's Zaku II A3-sized reversible poster.
