The competition was held between February 1st and April 20th. Fans get to send in photos of their Macross Frontier model kits during that period of time. As you can see, the team of judges for the competition consists of celebrities from the TV anime.
The grand prize winner from each category will receive a Valkyrie with the category judge's autograph (in exchange with the participant's finished kit), the chance to take a picture with the judge and a participation certificate. Another two winners from each category get to have a picture taken with the judge and a participation certificate.
