1/100 Kshatriya Resin Kit & Yahoo! Auction Unicorn Banshee

Note: With the lack of Gundam news recently due New Year celebration, here's an old draft which didn't get published because of the tons of news kicking in for the few days after I wrote it.

This one was written in early November ^^;

And this is why Kshatriya is so much cooler than Delta Plus ^^

Spotted earlier by The Bonkurasu Brigade and Gunota Dot Info.

NeoGrade, a Korean resin kit company has released a full kit of 1/100 Kshatriya at the price of 279,00 Korean Won (about US$210 or RM750 - conversion rate as of Saturday 8th November) exclusive of shipping fee.

Being a resin kit, not much can be expected from its articulation. As you can see, its arms are static for all the images despite having joints designed for the elbow. Then again, the details of this Kshatriya is just overwhelming. Plenty of details on the shoulder binder's interior, and there are four of them.

The emblem on the chest and wrists just make me crave for MG Sinanju Ver. Ka's release even more ^^

Then again, as how a reader commented about the possibility of an MG Kshatriya from Bandai in this previous posting, the price is going to be a real issue. Given that it must maintain the high articulation and detail level of the MG line, plus size issue as well, I say 12,000 to 15,000 Yen?

With today's market condition, I don't think Bandai's that adventurous in raising the bar of MG pricing by so much for a supporting Zeon unit (when Sinanju is the lead), which doesn't have any possibility for a rehash version after the regular release.

Personally, I was agonized a while back canceling a few of my list items to make way for MG Sinanju Ver. Ka when it was confirmed to be priced at 7,000 Yen. If a possible Kshatriya is going to be double the price, I don't think I would go for it even when I love it, and most Zeon MSs so much.

NeoGrade also did a conversion kit for Sinanju using MG Hi-Nu Gundam as the base, as reported back in April this year.

On the other hand, for folks who are not betting on the release of Gundam Unicorn Banshee by Bandai, one completed model is currently on Yahoo! Auction:

Conversion to the normal mode is not possible anymore I think. But it comes prepainted, and the limited Double Gatling is included as well, plus its own display base.

Bidding price as seen on 8th November, 11 AM is at 27,000 Yen. Auction ends on 9th November (tomorrow). Anyone interested?
