Waistless 1/100 Cherudim

Quite a few model kits are available on Hobby Search since this morning:

- MG Zeta Ver. 2.0 HD Color Ver.,
- 1/100 Cherudim,
- UCHG 1/35 E.F.F. Type 61 Tank "Semovente Corps",
- HG 1/144 Exia Trans-Am Mode,
- HG 1/144 Dynames Trans-Am Mode,
- HG 1/144 Kyrios Trans-Am Mode,
- HG 1/144 Virtue Trans-Am Mode,
- Kotobukiya's Linebarrels of Iron 1/144 Hind Kind,
- Kotobukiya's 1/72 HMM EZ-016 Saber Tiger Schwartz Ver..

Many of the Gunplas listed for today's releases are recolored kits, so the attention is on 1/100 Cherudim and UCHG Type 61 Tank. The later is a truly magnificent military model made easier and suitable for most people to assemble. 1/100 Cherudim on the other hand, turns out to be one "waistless" Gundam Double O Gunpla again, just like 00 Gundam. Some of you must have spotted this already from the many images posted before, showing no action pose with Cherudim moving his waist. Still, it's quite a surprise to me ^^;

Sets a whole new standard for the UCHG line in my opinion ^^

Very detailed part separation for each figure so that they won't look too bad even without any painting.
That's why I said this kit can still be considered suitable for the average modeler, even with so much realism and details designed into each part.

A new design for the clear display stand to mount the Shield Bits. The bad thing about it is that some part of it would be exposed when the Shield Bits are not attached to them.
Why can't they just stick to the design from the HG 1/144 scale version which doen't have this problem?

The 'infamous' "waistless" waist joint ^^;
I don't believe this...

The visor of the targeting sensor can't be flipped out just like the HG 1/144 scale version it seems.

The good thing is the full transformation of the beam rifle.

All the HG Gundams in Trans Am Mode recolored has new design for their construction manuals as well. All of them feature screen shots from the anime when each of the Gundams activates and uses Trans Am. All except Dynames of course, since it never gets to activate it at all.

I don't know about you, but I was wondering all this while if the editing department in Bandai had some pretty tough moments trying to think of the right screen shot to put in, for a unit which never made it into the anime XD
