As a recap, the statue is at Wakamatsu Park (若松公園) in Shinnagata, Kobe (神戸 新長田). It's part of a bigger project to commemorate Mitsuteru Yokoyama-sensei, the creator of Tetsujin 28, who passed away in 2004. The project is funded by donation from fans, collected since June 17th 2006. It's scheduled to be completed by the end of this month, and will be officially opened on October 4th.
