1/100 00 Gundam & HG 1/144 Seravee

Being busy with my own matters for the last few days actually, most of my postings seem to be very "mechanical". ^^;

Also, there's are too many things I missed out as well: BAKUC 2008 and the most recent Anime Festival Asia 2008 in Singapore. Since my sources are mostly from Japan and Hong Kong, events outside East Asia were being mentioned less actually, even though they are much closer to me. I'll have a compilation of links and photos for those two events after this.

Anyway, not-so-new Gunpla news: 1/100 00 Gundam and HG 1/144 Seravee are officially out in Japan!

Pretty much having the same features (less actually) as the HG version when the lighting effect of the Twin Drives is out of the picture.

The "anatomy" of a GN Drive is revealed.

In terms of parts, 00 (top) is one runner less of 1/100 Exia (bottom), and I included PC-7 (the runner with just six polycaps) into the calculation for 00. ^^; The price of 00 is 500 Yen more than Exia though.

Apart from the reviews mentioned in this previous posting, and this one, interested folks can also check out the review on Hatena Diary.

Many combo possibilities with the bazookas ^^

The parts for the rear boosters (?) of Seravee (C14 to C17) reveals feet-like design...

A review on this kit can be found on Hatena Diary.

Also, BB Senshi Sangokuden fans who are interested in the recent release of Shusou Doven Wolf can have a look at a straight assembled version done by Lifezoids.

However, the one I'm really interested in is this: Banpresto's SCM G-3 Gundam & GM set. I remember writing about the SCM line some time ago. The design of the body might not be accurate to the actual mecha, but the articulation is really unbeatable.

It's too bad that they are so hard to get over here in my place, almost non-existing. :(

Check out a review done by SR Blood Zwei:

The action poses are so awesome O_O
