On a separate note, Kotobukiya has new tricks up for its Modeling Support Goods (M.S.G.) series: support vehicles
001 - Wheeled. Missile/command car
002 - Caterpillar. Infantry tank/recovery vehicle.
According to the information on Hobby Stock, these support vehicles to be used for 1/100, 1/144 or 1/72 models. "Used for" as in displaying them along with your models, or for building dioramas.
The best part is, they are compatible with the previously released Trailer Sets 001 & 002. There are a few 3mm connectors on the body of the vehicles, and can be used to fit the cranes and other parts from those trailer sets.
Available in March 2009, 1,260 Yen each set (inclusive of tax).
