HG 1/144 Gundam RX-78-2 Ver. Gundam 30th Anniversary - July 11th Release

Bandai Hobby has made sure that the upcoming HG 1/144 Gundam RX-78-2 Ver. Gundam 30th Anniversary ties closely with the premiere of Bandai Namco Group's 1/1 statue at Shiokaze Park in Tokyo. The release date of this HG has been set to July 11th, the same date the statue is open for public viewing at the park. ^^


The box art and its features are shown as well:


Unbeatable details all over the model and its weapons. From the shoulder joint, I'm speculating that this HG will be using the polycap set from the newly designed set in HG Gundam Double O Season 2.

The price is 1,260 Yen (inclusive of tax).

On the other hand, another star release next month is MG Exia. Bandai Hobbysite has finally revealed a painted version of this MG, in its special Ignition Mode and all its special features:



Late July release, 6,825 Yen, first batch of release special price - 5,250 Yen (inclusive of tax).

The regular version will be available at the same time at 3,990 Yen.
