YF-25 is the prototype for VF-25, which I have never seen before. The design sketch for YF-24 was flashed over for a brief second in one of the episodes in Macross Frontier, but not for YF-25 I believe.
A special plamo kit for the theatrical release produced by Bandai, it's going to be a change of color and markings for 1/72 Transformable VF-25F Alto's Unit maybe? looking at the design of the beam turrets on the back of the fighter.
More confirmation required.
