According to the comments on Futaba Imageboard, the Core Fighter of G.F.F. Metal Composite Gundam RX-78-2 Ver. Ka can be inserted into the body of O Gundam, even though it's hard to remove later.
For some reason, G.F.F. Metal Composite O Gundam has been designed to compliment Gundam RX-78-2 (or the other way round if you will) in a lot of aspects. ^^
