At the same time, release of the Blu-ray disc and DVD version of the first movie, "The False Songstress" have been confirmed as well.
The Blu-ray disc release will come as a Hybrid Pack, featuring not just the movie, but a few other goodies:
- Special PS3 game "Macross Trial Frontier"
- Special video (120 minutes in length)
- Original illustration by Risa Ebata (江端里沙)
- 48-page original guidebook featuring mecha setting, movie archives and others
- First batch release premium.
