1.8-Meter Runner Gundam from Chara Hobby 2010

One of the major attraction at the recent Chara Hobby 2010 was a 1/10 scale, 1.8-meter tall "Runner Gundam", constructed entirely from used runners of Gunpla kits.

The scale is 1/9.9 to be exact according to the creator, Hirotyun, and the former name is "Recycled Grade 1/9.9 Runner Gundam: (RG(リサイクルグレード)1/9.9 ランナーガンダム) ^^











1.8 meters is its head height, the full height with the rifle included is 2.9 meters, or 3.35 meters with the base included.

According to the introduction of this "statue", it was made for Gunpla 30th Anniversary celebration, and is consists of disposed runners from Gundam RX-78-2 kits connected by super glue. No painting is applied. The total time used to finish the work is 300 hours.

How many runner in total was used for the entire "statue" is unknown.
