BB Senshi Sangokuden Sonken & Senjin Gasshin from Hobby Japan March Issue

New Packing for S.H. Figuarts & Others
More updates regarding the highlights for the upcoming Tamashii Nation after yesterday afternoon. A lot of the information through the images are not confirmed actually. They are more like tit-bits to ask you to pay attention to the event.
The images you saw in this posting and the previous one are from the newsletter called "Tamashii Spot" which Bandai distributes on the streets of Akihabara this weekends.
Bandai being Bandai there. ^^; Images from the official website isn't telling us anything thanks to the masking in the second image. But thanks to those who did get the newsletter since yesterday and uploaded them, we do get to see them anyway.

New packing for S.H. Figuarts?
With paper box now? Good for recycling actually, once you decide to make room by getting rid of the boxes. It would be even better if the placeholder inside the box are made of paper as well. ^^

Yamato's 1/60 VF-1S Weathering Ver. Release at Wonder Festival 2010 [Winter]
Yamato announces that the special 1/60 Complete Transformation VF-1S Weathering Ver., which is listed as a Yamato Web Shop limited item will be available in limited number at the upcoming Wonder Festival 2010 [Winter].
Not too much difference in terms of timing actually. Wonder Festival 2010 [Winter] will be on February 7th, while the release date for the online limited release version will be one day later than that (February 8th).
The price is 15,540 Yen (inclusive of tax).
Another goodies from Yamato at the event is the pre-order for Shunya X Mitsumasa Asuka Langley's figurine at Studio Reflect's booth, as mentioned in this previous posting.

* S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider W Fang Joker confirmed to be released in late May.
* S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider G3-X and G4 will be out in late May as well.

DX Chogokin VF-25F & VF-27 New Images
New images of DX Chogokin 1/60 VF-27γ Lucifer Valkyrie Brera's Unit and VF-25F Tornado Messiah Valkyrie Alto's Unit, which apparently screen shots from a recent CM about these two action figures shown in Japan.
Special prizes for the first batch of release is shown as well (last picture): B1-sized posters featuring Sheryl with VF-27γ, and Ranka with VF-25F. The poster is a combination of character illustration by Risa Ebata (江端里沙), CG background from the movie and photographs of the action figure in Gerwalk mode. The posters will be given out by stores, one each for the two DX Chogokin releases.

Lighting Up MG GN-X
There's a lot of talk about lighting up the just released MG GN-X's GN Drive Tau, but so far, this is the only review that did it - from Gunpla Revenge:
Lighting up with MG Exia Ignition Mode's GN Drive, and fake solar furnace becomes the original one. XD
Gunpla Revenge's own proposed solution - DIY to change the green LED of the original GN Drive to red.
But Bandai does have an easier solution for you - order form to purchase a red LED lighting unit and two other parts needed are included separately with the manual.
The set of parts listed: LED lighting unit, J1, and a screw are exactly the same as the one used for MG Exia Ignition Mode.

The price for the set of parts is 700 Yen, plus another 120 Yen for delivery according to Gunpla Revenge, which is also the same as that listed for MG Exia Ignition Mode. So it's pretty safe to confirm that both MGs are using the same parts to light up their respective GN Drive.
To light-up the one in front and another one on the back. It's 1,520 Yen for two lighting unit sets. Folks who know some electronic tricks will be able to cut cost on that to achieve the same effect I believe. ^^
