Although the anime is over already, Gundam Double O's merchandises are not stopping/slowing down though. ^^; Apart from the many Gunplas, folks who like gashapons and capsule toys now have two sets to consider in August:

H.G.C.O.R.E. Vol. 5 - All Gundams in Trans-Am mode, including Lockon's Dynames which never got to activate it in the anime. Each of them also comes in a different 'clear red' version. They are not exactly newly produced figures, but repainted ones (in Trans Am color) from the previous volumes of
H.G.C.O.R.E. Check out the various series on Gundam Double O's official page.

Also in is Ali Al Sanchez's Customized Enact (in red paint scheme this time maybe?).

200 Yen for each figure. There are 11 different types in total.

EDITED:More gashapon to come - S.O.G.F (Strategy of Gundam Field) featuring nine MSs from the UC era in 1/300 scale, including Nu Gundam, Sazabi, Geara Doga (standard and Rezin Schnyder's color), GP-01Fb, GP02 (standard version and Type-MLRS), and Zaku II F2 (green and white). Parts will also be given to assemble a mini rack for storing these figures.

The regular price is 5,040 Yen (inclusive of tax) per box (12 in a box). Bigbe has this set of gashapon up for reservation at 3,276 Yen.

Transformers Crossovers & Others

Remember the four Transformers/Spiderman/Ironman and other crossovers mentioned the other day? ^^; Toysdaily reported that Takara will be releasing these figures in August at 3,500 Yen each.



I suspect sooner or later G.I.Joe characters will get their share of the crossovers too ^^;

Also, remember Blitzwing? He's one of the Decepticons from Transformers Animated, which was mentioned briefly on my blog quite some time ago. The details for the toy figure of Blitzwing has yet to be announced, but one Blitzwing is currently up on ebay, and the bidding starts at US$300! It's likely that Blitzwing will get a Voyager Class release (first), and the usual price for that should be about US$20 (Check Optimus Prime, Starscream, Megatron and others).

Whoever going to place the bid for this fella better know what he is doing ^^;

On the other hand, some fans in America decided to release their own Transformers figure too! ^^

Well, not exactly a brand new figure, but upgrade parts for Transformers Classic Ultra Magnus. The parts will be Ultra Magnus's trailer in vehicle mode, called "City Commander". Ultra Magnus can then transform together with the trailer armor, and its appearance will greatly differ from its original form

Unfortunately, according to the site announcement, this upgrade kit will receive very limited production, and will be offered mainly to North American fans at the moment. Ultra Magnus's fans outside America might be really dissapointed about this.

MG Force Impulse Gundam Box Art & Others

I always thought that Bandai is going to use the famous scene of Impulse skewing Freedom as the box art of this MG, but it seems that they wanted Force Impulse to take the center stage (completely) this time. ^^

It's great to see that the one of the final scenes from the duel between Zaku II FZ and Gundam NT-1 in UC0080: War in a Pocket is selected to be the box art.

Before moving onto the SD models, Gundamaniac posted several magazine scans of upcoming 1/100 Gundam Double O kits, including the highly anticipated Astraea Type F:


Plasma sword compartment in Overflag's forearm, and it seems that the special rifle can be mounted on its hip.
Astraea Type F's weapons are completely the same as Astraea, and it comes with the V fin and front skirt armors from Exia, and a special mask to hide its face.


1/100 Tieren comes with figure of the same scale too! And looking at its size, I kind-of suspect that this big guy will be bigger than MG Zaku II...
