A very short time span between the review on the previous episode and this one. Not that I'm fast, but was extremely slow for Episode 23. ^^;
It was Omlette Rice last week, while this week Kivat Bat talks about a certain type of flower. ^^
Anyway, the unconscious Otoya tossed into the river by Jiro last week was saved by Shinji and Ryoko.
Cut to present time, a doctor informs Shinji of Ryoko's incurable disease.
Megumi celebrates the success of her photo shoot session with Mio, and soon finds out that she has becomes the light-bulb between her and Wataru ^^;
Rikki's "ultmate" declaration of love to Yuri, which contains more words and sentences than all of his lines combined in previous episodes XD
Unfortunately for him, the romantic moment is crashed by Jiro, who seems to have his own plan for Yuri.
Otoya wakes up just in time to meet Maya again, in danger of facing the Grizzly Fangire.
Or maybe not.
Otoya didn't realize that instead of saving Maya from the Fangire, it's the other way round instead. A slap from the Queen is quite fortunate for him actually. Ouch! ^^;
Back to 2008, Shinji strikes again and is confronted by Keisuke and Kengo, which is how he gets his name inside Keisuke's to-hunt-down list.
Some very '80s-styled romantic scenes of the tragic couple again.
Unlike Rikki, Jiro's method of expressing his love to Yuri is by holding her captive by a waterfall. ^^;
I suppose Rikki's method will gain more marks from Yuri ^^;
Ryoko's dying wish is to visit the tree Shinji planted for her 22 years ago.
Someone who appears in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Ixa has the upper hand at first with his Ixa Calibur, but the enraged Grizzly Fangire doesn't seem to be planning in backing off this time.
The unlucky couple caught in between the fight, and unintentionally, Mio's dark secret is starting to awaken.
Back in 1986, Otoya comes to Yuri's rescue, and Jiro reveals his Wolfen form, in front of his love! The fight between him and Otoya continues from last week.
Realizing Mio's true identity, the Grizzly Fangire turns his eyes onto the girl, and Wataru fights for his girlfriend.
The folks in Castle Dran start to feel Wataru's true potential.
A little dragon appears in Castle Dran, and gives Kiva the Emperor Form.
No fight at all for the Grizzly Fangire.
Emperor Kiva's ultimate move, which seems to be the daylight version of Darkness Moon Break.
The fight between Jiro and Otoya takes an anticlimactic turn, as a disappointed Jiro resumes his human form and walks away.
Congratulations Otoya, you just won over Yuri's heart! ^^;
Back to 2008 again, Shinji manages to crawl back to Ryoko's side before dying, as Mio watched on...
Preview for next week's episode, Fanfare: The Queen's Awakening
- Bishop of the Checkmate Four (his human form seems to be a character from Kamen Rider Hibiki?)
- Otoya saves Maya, for real this time?
- The awakening of Mio as the Queen?
- The crazy Spider Fangire makes a come back! How I miss him XD
- Megumi kick!!
- More Emperor Kiva
The story's getting more and more intriguing it seems, with the sudden revealing that Mio has a very dark identity. How did the Queen changes from Maya to Mio is what I wanted to know the most at the moment. Also, as the enemy of his, I have a very dreaded feeling that Kiva (Wataru) will have to deal with Mio one day, and that will surely be a heart-breaking moment for Wataru.
Also, as Jiro exits the love fight with Otoya, and most importantly, his Wolfen form exposed to Yuri, I wonder what role he will take from now on. As Yuri and Otoya's enemy? or a secret ally as Jiro has yet been able to avenge his fellow Wolfen deaths in the hand of Rook the Lion Fangire. Who's going to use the Ixa System from now on? Otoya? That's going to be quite funny to watch ^^
It seems that Master's cafe will be losing a customer as well ^^;
