Gundam Again

No no, it's not Gundam Unicorn this time ^_^

Gunota Headlines reported that the new MG kits to greet us next year include Gundam Ver. 2.0. and Black Tri-star's Customized High Mobility Zaku II Ver. 2.0. This must be the 6th or 7th MG based on RX-78-2, and I'm very amazed at how many tricks Bandai can come up with for more and newer versions of this mecha ^^. For this release, The Core Fighter system omitted in Ver. OYW is restored, plus the G-Armor is included. Wow! This may be the biggest pack of MG Gundam so far, especially with the inclusion of the G-Armor. There are six different modes for that support unit, not to mention the ability to dock with Gundam, so there'll be plenty of fun definitely.

Since it's still under development, there's no photo available (You should know how RX-78-2 looks like for sure. How much can Bandai divert from the original design anyway? ^^;)

Then again, it's 3,200 Yen for Ver. OYW, and it's without the Core Fighter. Now the little fighter jet is back, together with a bigger one (the G-Armor), don't be surprise if the price goes beyond 5,000 Yen.

On the other hand, a variation based on MG Zaku II Ver. 2.0 has finally being announced (as predicted XD). The 'honor' goes to Black Tri-star's Customized High Mobility Type. Although I was hoping for the red Johnny Raiden's version, the Black Tri-star's version is very interesting nonetheless. Instead of the usual 120mm Zaku Machine gun, its first designated weapon is the Dom-type bazooka. Very intimidating. However, the price is 4,725 Yen, which is 1,000 Yen more expensive for a new backpack and a pair of new legs. Some special features or equipments are included maybe?

It seems that all the three figures of the Black Tri-star squadron are included. Since they are purely decorative, they are not very useful to me ^^;

Gunota also reported that the MG after Gundam Ver. 2.0. will incorporate some sort of new technology. Hmm... who will it be? what kind of technology is that? Mysteriously interesting XD

Now back to a few upcoming Gundam Double O Gunplas:

A slightly better official photo of HG Gundam Virtue after the previous posting. The action pose on the top right portion of the photo looks very promising :D

Magazine scan of Graham Arce's Customized Flag. The rifle seems to have some gimmick, and can cover the face of the Flag in the MA mode.

HG Tieren Taozi - I was speculating that this mecha will get a model release right after her debut in Episode 5. Although she is in pink, I think her role in the anime won't be as cute as Zaku Warrior Live Concert Ver. in SEED Destiny ^^;

Also, a bigger and clearer picture of SD Sangokuden Peach Orchard Oath Set, much better than the one in the previous posting ^^ - click to enlarge:

The price of the whole set is 1,890 Yen. Don't forget that paper dioramas of the peach orchard scene and the fight scene are included.

Speaking of SD Gundams, a few new mecha was included for SD Gundam G Generation Spirits - I'm not a gamer so I'm not very sure what is it about or which platform it's for, but those new mecha sure look bad-ass:

RX-78NT-X(MRX-003) Nexus (?) - a Bit carrying Gundam. Designed by Kimitoshi Yamane. Don't tell me the 11-year-old Alfred Izuruha from UC0080 is the pilot XD

MSN-03-2 Great Zeong. Designed by Akitaka Mika.

XM-07R Vigna Rona. Designed by Kunio Okawara.

Awesome o_O Don't be surprise if some of them will come out as new GFFs or even MG models like how Musha Gundam receives his GFF treatment after appearing in a video game. Other mecha to appear in that game include Hi-Nu Gundam, Crossbone Gundam Full Cloth, Hrairoo, Gundam Mudrock, and even Hildoltr! Check out SRW Hotnews for more images.
