What's Up

A bit of updates on some of my favorite model reviews and modelers’ websites:

Danny Choo – Danny the Storm Trooper is talking quite a bit about the release of PS3 in Japan. Today’s entry is on PS3 bug. PS lovers beware.

GUNPLA blog – currently moving through the construction of MG Strike Gundam IWSP. At the moment (16 Nov, 10.36 am), the progress is up to the waist and hip armor.

Dalong.net – the Korean model review site is collecting a lot of Super Robot War mecha lately. Box art and part list of many great kits (although Kotobukiya’s molding technology isn’t as great as Bandai) like Hukebein and Alteisen are available on the site. Reviews on UC Hard Graph Ramba Ral’s set is also up since yesterday. The 1-35 Zaku head is really coolsome!

Wonder Excellence – a new (yet again) MG Freedom is up. This time the emphasis is on the heavy mechanical feel. Didn’t say anything about the next project though.

Marvin’s Gundamaniac Blog – got a gallery of PG Char’s Zaku II up recently. An old kit, but a great one nonetheless. Some awesome action like bending the waist back and forth, and a light-up heat hawk (sold separately in a custom kit pack) are among the ‘hidden goodies’ to get this kit.
