Hatsune Miku Performance & K-On! Live Dubbing at AFA2009

New goodies to be experienced at Anime Festival Asia 2009 in Singapore! ^^


Hatsune Miku Performance - the virtual idol will come to Singapore for her first oversea performance! At "I LOVE Anisong" stage.

Live dubbing of K-On! - Like Hatsune Miku, the seiyuu (voice actresses) of the extremely popular K-On! series will come to AFA2009 for their first overseas performance. A live dubbing session from the animation is planned, and they will be attending to the fans' questions in the Q&A session on the main stage as well. Submission of questions to the seiyuu will be announced on the official site soon.

Information about the sales of ticket to the different events at AFA2009, as well as the entrance to the event itself is now up on the official site.

On a related note, more information regarding Animation Asia Conference (AAC) 2009, the one-day business conference preceding AFA2009. The topic of the conference will be "Globalization of Asia's Soft Power" with three themes: Create, Manage and Engage. Renowned speakers and talents to share their knowledge on how others can work with content from Japan to reach and engage the new generation of youth.

AFA2009 will be on for two days, November 21st and 22nd at Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre (Halls 403 and 404), while AAC2009 will be held on November 20th at the same venue.
