I said "suddenly" because Gundam Expo Japan (Tokyo) usually comes in the second week of August (as with last year and 2007), and there's no news on the event itself yet. Another major event, Chara Hobby Show should be sometime before Gundam Expo Tokyo.
So there shouldn't be any Gundam event anytime soon actually.
Anyway, let's have a look at what Bandai's planning up: ^^
MG Gundam Ver. 2.0, Destiny Clear Color Ver.
HG 1/144 00 Raiser Clear Color Ver.
BB Senshi Sangokuden Chouun & Hieisen Special Color Ver.
MG Destiny Clear Color Type and HG 00 Raiser are not bad in my opinion. ^^
