Big Sword, Small Sword, and Even More Swords

The biggest model kit this year, SRW OG 1/144 Daizengar is out today, according to Kotobukiya.

* Available on Hobby Search now, but images of its content and scans of its manual are not up yet.

Obviously no match in terms of size for the other SRW OG 1/144 scale kits ^^;

Make sure you DON'T carry it this way when crossing a road. ^^;

For the love of his Zankantou!! O_O

The price is 31,290 Yen (inclusive of tax).

On the other hand, a more 'normal' model kit to be released soon is 1/144 Vardant from Linebarrels of Iron. Exia is no match to him when the number of sword carried is compared between the two of them. XD Vardant can carry 20 katanas in his backpack binders! ^^

The biggest feature of Vardant, the binders on his back can expand via reassembling the parts between each piece. Its right spread palm is designed to be able to hold two katanas at the same time.

The price is 4,410 Yen (inclusive of tax).

Speaking of Linebarrels of Iron, the second batch of pre-order for 1/144 Full Action Figure [N.E.X.T] Linebarrel from Volks is coming up, on Christmas.

140mm tall. Comes with two swords, hands x 2, spread palms x 2. Limited 500 units to be released, don't miss it this time. The price is 6,825 Yen (inclusive of tax). Release date is mid February 2009 (for second batch of pre-order).

I can't find this merchandises on either HLJ or Hobby Search. Might be another one of those Japan-limited merchandise again ^^;
