Chara Hobby 2008 Part 5

Part 5: Macross Frontier and Code Geass - updated some of the information on the merchandises' release dates and prices based on the news from last night's posting.

1/72 Transformable VF-25F Alto's Unit - Transformation aside, the Fighter mode looks really cool. If this is a 'strictly' straight assembled version, then that would mean that the cockpit canopy would be molded from clear purple part. A very rare color to be used eh? ^^

Because of the transformation, the splits between the components would be very obvious, on top of that, the splits between the decals are super-clear as well.
Can't be avoided actually.

Totally unbeatable Battroid mode! ^^ The fist design is evidently from Bandai's 1/100 Gunpla line XD

A very Macross Frontier styled box art, and a big one as well. Seems like the area would be just as big as the ones used for MG Gelgoog Ver. 2.0 or 1/100 Virtue.
And a huge slide of sticker/decal is shown for interested fans to prepare themselves XD
September 18th release, 4,725 Yen.

DX Chogokin 1/60 VF-25F Alto's Unit - Despite being bigger than the plamo version, the design is more simplistic it seems? or maybe they are yet to be included.
Late November release, 12,600 Yen.

DX Chogokin 1/60 VF-25S Ozma Lee's Unit - That huge Skull Leader decal on the back is totally awesome! ^^ That decal alone is one of the reasons I'm anticipating the plamo version, even though there's no news about it at all at the moment.
Late November release, 12,600 Yen.

Robot Damashii VF-25F - no transformation ability I suppose?
Currently under planning.

1/100 Transformable Macross Action Figures series - From Tamashii Nation, a new product line of Bandai featuring new (Macross Frontier) and old Macross mecha, including everyone's favorite VF-1. Best news around for Macross fans. ^^
Commence in 2009, price TBA.

1/35 Mechanic Collection Guren Type-02 and Vincent Loyal Coating Ver.
September 5th and 25threlease respectively, 3,990 Yen each.

Mechanical Complete Lancelot Conquista - September release, 7,140 Yen.

In Action!! OffShoot Burai variations - Since the first Burai was from the OffShoot line, newer releases are still categorized in that product line, and didn't get "upgraded" to the Robot Damashii line.

Zero's Customized Burai - Comes with a mini figure of Zero
Late October release, 2,730 Yen - available for preorder on Amiami.

Burai Black Knights Ver. - also available on Amiami - Late October release, 2,415 Yen.
On the right is Burai Kai, not sure whether it'll be out as the Four Holy Swords, or Kyoshiro Tohdoh's unit. Release date and price TBA.

Robot Damashii Gawain and Guren Flight Type - seems like both of them are ready to be released anytime now, but fans will have to wait till late December for both of them. Please refer to this morning's posting for more info. and images.

Zangetsu and Shinkirou are also future releases. No info. at the moment.
