Toy & Anime Convention Kuching 2008 Part 3

Part 3 is mainly about the merchandises on sales in the event. The organizer set up a court displaying these items out of their boxes, including straight-assembled Gunplas shown in the first posting. Other items include huge scale Star Wars, Macross, AVP and Transformers figures.

The location of the display is close to anther entrance of The Spring, quite far away from the booth of Swinburne Anime and Manga Society (see the first and second posting on this event).

On the right is a HWR-00-Mk.II Monster right? Can't find it in the sales section though.

Millennium Falcon and AT-TE Walker, plus some other Star Wars mecha all cramped into a display casing that doesn't seem quite fitting for them ^^;

Leader Class Megatron and Roll-Out Command Optimus Prime, plus Masterpiece Megatron who is being displayed together MG Zeta Gundam White Unicorn Ver.

ED209 and Ironman action figure.

Alien Warrior and Predator action figures, with SIC Classics Kamen Rider Amazon & Jungler looking on.

And now let's see what have we got in the sales section right in the center court of The Spring ^^

Items on sales have 10 percent discount.

Plenty of Gunplas on sales! ^^
There are more MG Unicorn Ver. Ka than Strike Freedom this time XD
There are also a few boxes of MG Zeta White Unicorn Ver. available. Interested fans better be quick, or they'll be gone, again.

Several super-vintage Gunplas spotted: 1/60 Zeon mecha from the 80's. The price range is RM11X to RX13X.

MG GP02A Metallic Coating Ver. RX2XX

Kadou Senshi Hyaku-Shiki, forgot the price ^^;

A single box of Kotobukiya's Demonbane spotted.

A few S.I.C. sets available as well. If Kamen Rider Blade King Form is available, then my wallet would be a goner ^^;

Japanese hero meets American hero. XD Dragonball toys and Batman The Dark Knight.
No sign of his Bat-pod though.

How can a toy fair be missing Transformers action figures. XD Leader Class Animated Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bulkhead and other smaller (and tiny) ones are also on sales.

Binal Tech Arcee featuring Honda S2000. Feels quite heavy despite the small box ^^

1/15 Transformable Garland from Yamato.

1/48 VF-1J Stealth Type. I know Dennis must have one, and probably had reviewed it on his blog as well. ^^

Large scale ED209 from the first Robocop movie. Still remember him?

Furyu's 10" Alien Warrior.

The biggest Millennium Falcon I've ever seen. O_O AT-TE placed above it has the same box size. Wuhhuh~
A Wing Fighter is just one among a whole rack of Star Wars action figures.

Remote Controlled Tiger I

A lot of stuffed toys for the kiddies.

I've never seen Garfield looking so tired before XD
And Elmo looks more like a red furred Cookie Monster instead XD

As for me, I got for myself:

Photobucket
BB Senshi Force Impulse and HGUC Sazabi ^^

There were other events within this Toy & Anime Convention as well, like Cosplay presentation, R/C Drift Competition, Star Wars Quiz etc. The whole event will be on till the 31st of this month, but the figurine and Gunpla display by Swinburne Anime and Manga Society was over since the 24th (Sunday).
