More MG Infinite Justice from Gundam Expo Tokyo 2008

As the title suggests, let's have a closer look at MG Infinite Justice, which is still in its early prototype form, but has stirred up quite a lot of discussion in the Gunpla community nonetheless.

The head in that design art seems a bit too large in proportion.

The text in the first picture mentioned that the prototype displayed is "Ver. 1.0", so the actual release maybe differ (D-uh~). Anyway, the important point is that Satoshi Shigeta (重田智), one of the many mecha animation directors for SEED Destiny is also on the development team for this MG. His contribution towards the design of the final release is highly anticipatable.

If not mistaken, he also took part in the design for MG Destiny and Force Impulse. Since those two MGs disappoint neither SEED Destiny nor Gunpla fans in general, I believe Infinite Justice is going to be awesome for sure ^^

There are also new images of other Gundam merchandises on display in the event. Most were covered in Part 1 several days ago.

MG Strike Freedom Gundam Extra Finish Version - Late September release, 10,500 Yen.
I put my bet on something similar for MG Destiny sooner or later. ^^;

1/100 Exia EXF "Trans-Am" Mode - Late August release, 5,250 Yen.
That picture at the back is probably the box cover.

GFF Gundam NT-1 - September release, 4,725 Yen.

Chogokin Kahen-Senshi Zeta - September release, 6,825 Yen.
Announced quite some time ago, I almost forgot about him after all this while ^^;
A redesigned and recolored version, the Waverider transformation doesn't need part-swapping, but those screws are really too obvious, aren't they?

MSIA Nadleeh - September release, 2,625 Yen.
I wonder what he's looking at in both pictures XD

MSIA Zudah Unit 2 and Backup Unit - September release, 1,680 Yen each.

EMSIA Gelgoog Mass Productive Type - September release, 2,100 Yen
EMSIA G3 Gundam - October release, 2,100 Yen
EMSIA Herbert Von Kuspen's Customized Gelgoog - October release, 2,100 Yen

Who would have thought that these recolored MSIAs and EMSIAs are going to be the last in their series when they were announced some time back?

SDX Knight Gundam has been put on display in various events with everyone guessing its specialties and features all this while ^^

GFF Red Warrior - November release - 5,775 Yen.

Kyoshiro Maniax Mini Fig Vol.1 - Release date TBA, 735 Yen each.

S.H.Figuarts Domon Kasshu - September release, 2,310 Yen.
Pretty hot blooded eh? ^^ That "Super Mode" meditation expression look really close to the anime as well.

Images are from Akiba Hobby.

Also, Gunota Headlines reported that despite the commence of Robot Damashii, the MSIA and In Action!! OffShoot lines will continue as well. Items branded as MSIA, EMSIA, and OffShoot before the announcement of Robot Damashii get to retain their original "identity", but for the OffShoot series, even though Gawain has been transferred to the new series, more Sutherland and Burai variations will continue to be released under the OffShoot line.

Not a big deal to me, since it seems that those recolored re-release ones are going to be in the old series. The design and production should be roughly the same as their original releases right? So why bother to transfer them to the new line, and start redeveloping them again. The more important point is, Bandai didn't mention if there's any totally new mecha in these two lines ;-)

On a separate note, folks who are interested in the just released BB Senshi Sangokuden Ryomou Dijeh / Kannei Kampfer Gou Assault Marine set can have a look at a straight assembled version on Himukai Moe-Nifty.
